A Comet’s A’Comin’!!!

https://spaceweather.com/archive.php_1/12/2023

When a comet is naked-eye visible, it’s a sign to ‘PAY ATTENTION‘ from Yehovah.  Well, there’s one on the way, so we should probably take a look at it, huh?

COMET ZTF AT PERIHELION:Today, Jan. 12th, the comet makes its closest approach to the sun (perihelion) – only 1.1 AU away. Solar heat has turned it into an easy target for backyard telescopes:

“I took this picture on Jan. 11th,” says Dalibor Hanžl of Pavlovice, Czech Republic. “The comet looked great through my 8-inch telescope.”

Discovered in March 2022 by the Zwicky Transient Facility, Comet ZTF has …its moment to shine.   After perihelion, Comet ZTF heads toward Earth for a close approach on Feb. 1st (0.28 AU). This will brighten the comet even more to a projected peak magnitude of +5, visible to the naked eye, binoculars, and small telescopes. Between now and then, look for Comet ZTF before sunrise in the constellation Corona Borealis.

aNNa’S NoTe:  Am I the only one who looks at this and thinks, “Oooh!  Matrix code!”  Because… I may be a little Matrix-y, but… this looks like Matrix code!!  Also, isn’t it ironic that it’ll be at it’s closest approach February 1st, at 0.28AU… when the month of February has 28 days?  Just sayin’.  Not to mention its magnitude +5… five being the number of humanity, who’s naked eye will see it at that brightness.  Kinda fun, right?  Look up!

  1. Definitely worth watching. The .28 and 28 days is a wild conjunction!
